LOD (level of development)
How far a model element can be relied on: from a symbol (100) to measurable, as designed (300), to an as-built record (500).
The levels are defined in the BIMForum LOD Specification (2025 edition), which uses the AIA definitions. LOD 500 is a field-verified condition, not a level above 400.
