Read your model’s readiness, on your device.
Drop an IFC file. It is read in your browser, scored on five categories, drawn with every finding marked, and exported as a report and as BCF. Readiness sits on the weakest category. Four sample models open below, one per building type, each with nine problems planted in it on purpose: the audit has to find every one, and nothing else.
On this device Your model is read on this device and never uploaded.
Sample model
Procedural samples written from the four buildings on the first screen, each with nine problems planted on purpose. Or open your own IFC: it replaces the sample on this page.
Settings: what readiness counts
A category left out is still scored and listed; it only stops counting toward readiness. The model is read again on this device.

The on-screen result is yours either way. The full audit adds clash detection across disciplines, a review against your information requirements, and a licensed engineer’s reading.

How it reads a model
Five rules, scored on every element.
Each category scores the share of elements that pass it, rounded down. Readiness is the lowest score, so one bad habit cannot hide behind four good ones. The file is parsed by web-ifc, an open IFC reader, in a worker on your device.
- Spatial structure
- Every element is contained in a storey, directly or through the element it is part of.
- Identity
- Every element has a GlobalId no other element uses.
- Duplicates
- No two elements of the same class occupy the same box, within 1 mm unless you set another tolerance.
- Information
- Every element carries a property set, its own or its type’s, and no property is left empty.
- Naming
- Every element has a name.
It does not check clashes between disciplines, the level of development, classification or quantities. Those are in the full audit.
A score is a start. The full audit is a reading.
